Alan Margolis joins Masthaven Bank as Director of Credit and Operations

Masthaven Bank has today announced the appointment of Alan Margolis, pictured, as Credit and Operations Director for the short-term lending side of the business. Alan has been appointed to the newly created role as part of Masthaven’s ongoing expansion and brings over 20 years of financial services experience, particularly within the short-term lending sector.

Alan will be involved in Masthaven’s key credit decisions. This will include reviewing underwriting processes, innovating broker journeys and communication, driving product updates and supporting the bank’s short-term lending division.

Alan joins from Fintex Capital where he was Real Estate Project Leader. His previous roles include Head of Bridging at United Trust Bank and Chief Executive of Cheval Property Finance.

Alan is well-known in the bridging sector having served on the executive of the Association of Short Term Lenders and on judging panels for industry awards. He is also a regular contributor of articles to industry publications.

Masthaven’s latest appointment follows its several recent product launches, including its new larger loans bridging product – ‘Bridging Plus’ – for loans over £750,000.
