Arrow Global Launches Dutch Real Estate Platform: Mica Real Estate

Arrow Global Group Limited (‘Arrow Global’, ‘Arrow’), a leading European vertically integrated asset manager specialising in credit and real estate, is pleased to announce the launch of its new Dutch asset management platform, Mica Real Estate.

The platform will operate as an asset and investment management platform for various investment strategies within the Dutch real estate market for Arrow’s funds, and other third-party capital.

Mica Real Estate’s portfolio will encompass a large number of assets including sustainable offices, life sciences, retail, residential and hospitality.

Leveraging local expertise, knowledge, networks, and active asset management, the platform will acquire well-located assets in need of repositioning.

The Mica Real Estate team will be led by Mark Debets, formerly with Hudson/Lone Star, and Timo van den Noort, previously of the Fortress Investment Group. The company’s headquarters are in Amsterdam.

In line with Arrow’s strategic vision for real estate, which selectively targets complex and financially distressed situations in major European cities, the launch of Mica Real Estate strengthens Arrow’s Real Estate Opportunities strategy.

It also complements its diverse investment activities spanning opportunistic credit and direct lending.

Moreover, the launch of Mica Real Estate reinforces Arrow’s established presence in the Netherlands, a region experiencing strong demand for real estate assets. Arrow’s Dutch presence also includes Vesting Finance, Focum and RNHB.

This announcement highlights Arrow’s deepening commitment to the real estate sector, as evidenced by recent acquisitions.

These include Maslow Capital, a leading provider of real estate finance, Eagle Street Partners, a real estate asset manager and developer, and Blue Current Capital, an ESG-focused real estate investor, developer and operator enabling and accelerating the electrification of commercial fleets.
