Urban Exposure plc strengthens credit team with two new hires

Urban Exposure Plc, a specialist residential development financier and asset manager, is pleased to announce the appointments of Oliver Lawlor as a Director in its Credit team, and Karen Finn as Senior Associate.

In his role, Oliver will be responsible for evaluating commercial credit proposals whilst working with senior stakeholders and various departments, driving business strategy from a credit risk perspective and ensuring long term business performance.

Oliver has over 17 years of commercial and corporate banking experience operating in Dublin and London. Prior to joining Urban Exposure, Oliver held senior roles within NAMA (£1.6bn portfolio), Deutsche Pfandbriefbank (syndicated loans – £6.8bn portfolio) and established a consultancy for client-side debt structuring within multi-asset classes.

Karen, pictured, previously worked at Starwood Capital Europe Advisers LLP, where she worked as an Associate in Debt Asset Management.  While at Starwood, Karen was responsible for the relationship and ongoing risk management of a pan-European loan portfolio.  Karen was involved in the management of loans across various real estate asset classes, with exposure in excess of $1.6bn.

As a Senior Associate in the Credit team at Urban Exposure, Karen is responsible for underwriting and due diligence on new transactions.
