What is the best thing about being in the bridging finance business?

It is a rapidly expanding market and never stands still so there’s always new challenges to face that make for an interesting week.

What keeps you focused?

The desire and necessity to offer a quality service whilst delivering on tangible results.

What qualities do you look for in your employees or colleagues?

Honesty, integrity, self-motivation and the desire to deliver results.

Are you an optimist or a pessimist?

I’m a BDM so of course its an optimist!!

What did you want to be as a child?

A train driver, then footballer, then rock star. (Still do!!)

What will be the greatest challenge facing the bridging finance industry in the coming months?

The number of new entrants that may lead to some lenders incurring high-risk business or inadequate profit to cover their exposure.

Its vital the industry consolidates a level of professionalism throughout, especially during a period exponential growth.

Who or what makes you laugh?

My wife.

Do you dread Monday mornings?

No.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

Probably to lose weight. Or to possess the discipline to lose weight!

With whom would you most like to have dinner?

Nigella Lawson. Especially if she is cooking it!
