Hampshire Trust Bank plc (HTB), the rapidly expanding specialist bank, has been named as one of the London Stock Exchange Group’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain in 2019. The report is a celebration of the UK’s fastest-growing and most dynamic small & medium sized businesses with companies representing over 40 sectors and spanning every country and region across the UK.

HTB, owned by leading UK private equity investment managers, Alchemy Partners, recently published its latest results showing further strong growth in assets and revenues during 2018. Specialising in real estate and asset finance, HTB employs circa 200 people and is based in the City of London.

Matthew Wyles, HTB’s Chief Executive said:

“We are thrilled to be picked out by the LSE in their report. Our growth and financial performance demonstrates the exciting opportunities which exist for a focused, agile financial institution to carve itself an enduring niche in the SME banking sector.”

Dominic Slade, Managing Partner at Alchemy Partners said:

“HTB is enjoying great success in its target markets and we are excited about its current performance and future prospects.”

To be selected for the list, businesses had to demonstrate not only positive revenue growth over the last three years but also outperform their sector peers. The result is a unique and varied list of the UK’s most dynamic companies. More details on the Companies to Inspire reports and methodology can be found online at www.1000companies.com.
