Canada Life Investments completes largest ever real estate finance deal

London SkylineCanada Life Investments has completed a 20-year, £200m fixed rate deal secured by a portfolio of prime central London properties to a private investor.

This is the fourth transaction in excess of £100m that Canada Life Investments has completed in the past 18 months.

Most recently, the company agreed a £134.75m 15-year fixed-rate loan with Shaftesbury PLC, with other deals including a 15-year, £113.7m agreement with Picton Property Income Limited and a £129.585m, 15-year facility to Schroders Real Estate Investment Trust.
