In our latest Five Minute Interview, Tony Sanchez speaks to Noelle Robbins, Head of Investor Services and Relations at Fiduciam.
Noelle Robbins is the newly appointed Head of Investor Services and Relations at Fiduciam, bringing with her a diverse background that spans both the tech sector and real estate finance.
Since joining Fiduciam, she has immersed herself in the intricacies of bridging and development finance, thriving on the variety of deals and the challenge of shaping complex transactions into clear, compelling narratives for investors.
With a passion for building strong relationships and a naturally optimistic outlook, Noelle is focused on helping Fiduciam deliver transparency, confidence, and consistency to its investor base.
What is the best thing about being in the bridging and development finance business?
Coming from a background in the tech industry, real estate finance has been an exciting shift for me.
Since joining Fiduciam, I’ve had the opportunity to learn quickly and immerse myself in the nuances of the sector.
What I enjoy most is the variety, no two deals are alike. Each transaction is an opportunity to learn something new.
As part of the investor relations team, my role is to distil the most critical elements of each deal into a clear, cohesive narrative.
What keeps you focused?
Strong relationships, a steady routine, and genuine curiosity and interest in what I’m doing. Keeping a balanced lifestyle outside of work also helps me focus.
What qualities do you look for in your employees or colleagues?
A willingness to dig deep to best solve problems, a sense of humour, and diligence.
Are you an optimist or a pessimist?
Although I can be risk averse, generally I’m pretty optimistic!
What did you want to be as a child?
For a while I wanted to be an architect. I think I was drawn to real estate finance as it combines technical analysis and creativity.
What will be the greatest challenge facing the bridging and development finance industry in the coming months?
In a changing market, a key challenge is communicating a clear and confident message to investors, even when deal flow slows or external conditions are in flux.
Managing expectations while maintaining transparency becomes critical.
Who or what makes you laugh?
Many things! Dry humour, an occasional TikTok, people who don’t take themselves too seriously.
We are always having a laugh at the investor team desk at Fiduciam.
Do you dread Monday mornings?
I don’t! I enjoy the energy and buzz of the office; Mondays are a chance to get back into the rhythm.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I’d like to be more patient with myself. There’s always more to learn, and I’m learning to embrace the process.
With whom would you most like to have dinner?
My great-great-grandparents I never met!
