What is the best thing about being in the bridging finance business?
The people. For bridging to work efficiently packagers, surveyors, solicitors & lenders have to pull together. Intelligent Loans has developed great relationships with all concerned.
What keeps you focussed?
What qualities do you look for in your employees or colleagues?
Are you an optimist or a pessimist?
Optimist. In the current climate there is no room for negativity.
What did you want to be as a child?
A market trader (fruit & veg not stocks and shares)
What will be the greatest challenge facing the bridging finance industry in the coming months?
Competition is intense amongst packagers and lenders. Innovation and improved product offerings are essential in maintaining a competitive edge.
It is also clear that regulation shall play an important role in shaping the future of the industry.
Who or what makes you laugh?
Currently it is the English Rugby set up. What a mess.

Do you dread Monday mornings?
Not at all. I have 2 very young children and I am happy to escape the house. My wife deserves a medal.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
The colour of my hair.
