A combination of top-end developments, new transport links, luxury retail and leisure facilities have pushed the City of London, London’s business district, and the surrounding half-mile ‘Fringe’ into the Prime bracket, joining established areas such as Mayfair, Knightsbridge and Belgravia according to a recent Knight Frank report.
Gráinne Gilmore, head of British residential research for Knight Frank said:
“The City of London has seen residential price growth of 122 percent over the past 10 years, outperforming our overall Prime Central London index, which shows growth of 101 percent in the period.”
