P2P platform Lendy continues expansion with three senior appointments

Lendy, Europe’s leading P2P secured property platform and new title sponsor of Lendy Cowes Week, is pleased to announce the hiring of three new senior positions as it continues expansion. These are:

  • Shane Lewin, Compliance Officer
  • Pamela Guillamon, International Marketing Manager
  • Shaun Reynolds, Development Finance Support Manager

 

Shane Lewin joins with recent experience working within the Commercial Lending division of the challenger bank OneSavings as well as the UK Regulatory Assurance team at international broker Arthur J Gallagher. Shane has also been an Operations and Compliance Director of a Residential Mortgage Brokers, and brings to Lendy over 15 years’ worth of experience working within the financial services sector. Shane will take charge of Lendy’s regulatory compliance activity as Compliance Officer.

Pamela Guillamon

Pamela Guillamon joins as International Marketing Manager having previously been Regional Sales and Sponsorship Manager at Orolia, part of McMurdo Group, the positioning, navigation and tracking product company. Pam will be managing Lendy’s corporate image and communications as well as the global event and sponsorship programme. Pam will also be coordinating the social media programme along with Lendy’s customer relationships and partnerships.

Pamela speaks Spanish and Portuguese in addition to English, and has a degree in Business Administration, Marketing and Public Relations.

Shaun Reynolds

Shaun Reynolds joins Lendy as Development Finance Support Manager with over 30 years’ experience in the global banking industry, having worked at HSBC and Clydesdale Bank as a Commercial Banking Manager. Shaun has most recently been working on FCA-supervised projects in London, forensically analysing interest rate hedging products and distressed lending situations.

Shaun will be working on property developments loans, which includes liaising with Lendy’s brokers, borrowers, and professional advisors, all to ensure investors’ risks are minimised.

Lendy has also boosted its IT team with two new developers. Stephen Guinn joins as an IT Developer possessing over 10 years’ experience with development, recently working for the Lend Lease Group. Scott Austin joins as a Software Developer, where he will be designing, building and maintaining systems that improve business efficiency. Scott has a First Class BSc in Software Engineering and has experience managing systems that complete millions of transactions per hour.
