Mortgage Business Expo Manchester 2013, one of the biggest exhibitions for financial intermediaries based in the North, has today (18th March 2013) announced that visitor registration is now open for those wishing to attend the event in May.

MBE Manchester is free to attend and takes place on the 23rd May 2013 at the Lancashire County Cricket Club (LCCC). Those wishing to attend can register at the MBE Manchester website: http://manchester.mortgagebusinessexpo.com/visiting

So far a significant number of exhibitors have already committed to attending Manchester including a large number of lenders such as Accord, Aldermore, Nationwide for Intermediaries/The Mortgage Works, Platform, Precise Mortgages and Virgin Money.

MBE Manchester offers visitors with essential access to underwriters and BDMs from these leading lenders.

There will also be a full day of seminar sessions organised by the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI). Seminars will provide delegates with an array of advice and opinion on a variety of key issues facing the intermediary market. The full list of sessions will be announced in the coming weeks.

James Prosser, MBE Manchester 2013 Show Director, commented:

“This is our third consecutive year we are back in Manchester with Mortgage Business Expo after a brief hiatus immediately post-Credit Crunch. Last year’s event grew significantly on the 2011 exhibition and we fully expect a bigger range of exhibitors and show content at the LCCC in May. We already have some of the biggest, most influential lenders in the UK signed up to exhibit in Manchester and coupled with a quality series of seminar presentations, put together by the team at AMI, we are sure the day will be worthwhile for all that attend.

“There has certainly been a much more positive buzz around the mortgage market over the last 12 months with increased activity levels reported by advisers, lenders and all other stakeholders during that period. Confidence is growing and with schemes like Funding for Lending we are witnessing a greater degree of vibrancy and appetite from lenders, particularly in the mainstream and buy-to-let sectors.

“MBE Manchester is one of the only events in the calendar which allows advisers, intermediaries and brokers to engage with lenders and other providers, whilst gaining access to the latest industry and product knowledge. Plus of course there is also the networking opportunity that MBE always delivers. Full details of MBE Manchester 2013 can be found on the event website as well as the online registration form. We are looking forward to welcoming the mortgage market to Manchester on the 23rd May.”
