Masthaven announces new senior appointments

Masthaven Bank has today announced the appointment of three new staff members across its mortgage and savings divisions as the bank continues to deliver its growth as a specialist bank in the challenger sector.

The new roles will focus on supporting the bank’s customer service and product range alongside its digital and emerging technologies research.

The three new hires include:

  • David Kennedy, Lending Operations Director, previously Director of Operations at Shawbrook Bank
  • Mark Evans, Product Director, previously Head of Product Management at Shawbrook Bank
  • Baris Aksoy, Data Protection Officer, previously an Information Governance Subject Matter Expert at the NHS 

The challenger bank has also announced that internally, Al Southall will take up the newly established role of Chief Technology Officer and Simon Furnell will be Chief Operating Officer with responsibilities for product development, the post origination servicing of loans, operations and retail savings.
