Specialist lender Lendhub has continued its growth surge with the appointment of Sally O’Loughlin as Credit Manager.

Sally, who joins from Octopus, where she was previously Junior Development Underwriter, is the 6th new hire Lendhub has made during lockdown.

Other recent additions to the residential and development exit group include Ashley Kendall and Wesley Hawthorne as Business Development Managers and Anna Gibson as Business Development Executive.

Sally, originally from Wellington, New Zealand and a former real estate Commercial Analyst for Metro Bank, will be tasked with underwriting Lendhub’s bridging and development transactions.

Lendhub said she would be working closely with its team of Business Development Managers to complete cases.

Sally said she was keen to get started. “I’m excited to work for a young, promising and vibrant company with the opportunity to work closely with senior members of the business and to be instrumental in its growth and success,” she said.

Chief commercial officer Asim Shirwani said:

“We are extremely pleased to be welcoming Sally to the Lendhub team, her wealth of industry experience supports our vision to provide first class service to our brokers and borrowers whilst we grow our loan book and expand our proposition.”

He added that more new hires were ‘on the horizon’, unsurprising given the value already created by its recent recruits.

Back in March business development manager Kendall helped introduce a new borrower and broker to the group leading to the completion of 2 bridging loans totalling £1.4million.

Other deals for the growing Lendhub this year include a £2.5million commercial bridging loan helping a borrower whose sales plans had been affected by the pandemic.

It enabled the borrower, who had previously purchased a commercial block consisting of six office units, to exit an existing facility and re-market its remaining 5 units.
