Following on from the announcement in August that specialist short-term lender, Hope Capital, had bolstered its underwriting team with the recruitment of Helen Hargreaves and Andrew Bate, the lender has now announced a further appointment to its team.

Jonathan Britstone joins Hope Capital as Operations Manager. Previously, Jonathan worked for Together, where he obtained just under 5 years’ experience within the solicitor’s team, dealing with various areas, including liaison with conveyancing solicitors to allow the smooth running of an application.

As well as the skills and experience Jonathan has developed working within the financial services, he also has 15 years’ experience working in a broad range of positions in the wider legal industry.

The skillset and knowledge Jonathan has acquired throughout his career, therefore ensures he has a full understanding of the requirements and expectations of brokers.

In his new role, Jonathan will be responsible for supporting the Sales, Underwriting and Post Completion teams, ensuring the excellent service Hope Capital is renowned for, continues to be delivered, as the company grows and takes on increased business volumes.

Jonathan Britstone, Operations Manager at Hope Capital, commented:

“Joining Hope Capital at a time where it is flourishing as a business, is really exciting. I look forward to working alongside the team and helping to contribute to Hope Capital’s progress going forward.”

Hope Capital is currently placing a focus on its long-term recruitment strategy, where the firm is looking to secure talented individuals, with greater or lesser experience, who share the same passion for personal development and sustained success.

Gary Bailey, Managing Director of Hope Capital, added:

“We are very pleased to welcome Jonathan to the Hope Capital team.

Jonathan’s appointment is part of our ambitious plans to bolster all of the divisions across Hope Capital. As we take on more cases, it is essential we are best positioned to deliver an outstanding service to brokers and their clients.

Bringing talent on board, such as people with Jonathan’s calibre, will ensure we can do this.”
