Glenhawk, the recently launched specialist UK property lender, is pleased to announce the appointments of Harleigh French, pictured, as Business Development Associate and Nicholas Hare, as an Analyst, effective immediately.

Based in London, Harleigh and Nicholas add to Glenhawk’s growing team of experts and will support the accelerated loan book growth, underpinned by the favorable market backdrop for providers of fast and flexible short-term property lending.

Harleigh joins Glenhawk from Shawbrook Bank, where she was most recently Business Development Executive with responsibility for new broker and client enquiries whilst maintaining the existing deal book, across both the residential and commercial mortgage sectors.

Reporting directly to Nick Hilton, Harleigh will oversee the management of Glenhawk’s broker relationships, client liaison and loan origination, leveraging her more than 7 years of sales experience in London and the South East.

Nicholas was previously a Commercial Analyst at Cabot Financial, working closely with the corporate development team on M&A and new market strategy, helping to manage Cabot’s Spanish real estate portfolio, as well as producing regular analysis on the UK and European debt landscape.

At Glenhawk, he will be responsible for financial modelling, risk and investment analysis and M&A analysis and research, reporting directly to Paul MacFadyen.

Following these appointments, the Glenhawk team totals 17, providing a platform from which to accelerate its origination volumes, following the announcement in September that it had secured an initial £75 million funding line from Shawbrook Bank and a global asset manager.

Guy Harrington, Chief Executive Officer of Glenhawk, commented:

“Harleigh and Nicholas are joining us at a hugely exciting time following the new funding line, and their respective skill sets will be integral in helping us identify both the borrowers and parts of the market that are ripe for our unique lending proposition.

Harleigh brings with her a proven track record of growing high-quality loan books, whilst Nicholas’s background in financial analysis and reporting will complement our existing financial team.

With a significant pipeline of deals lined up for the rest of 2018, our ambition to be viewed as the UK’s short term property lender of choice remains on track.”
