Gatehouse Bank has appointed Sonam Pathak and Neha Nadhvana as mortgage underwriters in its rapidly expanding Home Finance team.

Sonam brings more than seven years’ banking experience to her new role, having previously held positions at Barclays and Santander. For the past four years, Sonam worked at Coventry Building Society as a mortgage underwriter. Neha is a further strong addition to the already-experienced team, having spent 14 years as an underwriter at Nationwide Building Society.

Sonam and Neha will be responsible for ensuring a smooth process for brokers and individual buy-to-let and home finance customers.

Both will be based at Gatehouse’s Milton Keynes office, along with Ben Fulker who has been appointed Business Support Manager to help manage the bank’s operational needs across all of its finance teams.

These appointments follow increased demand for Gatehouse Bank’s products and services. The Bank has continued to expand its range, launching a Commercial Property Finance proposition in November and entering the homebuyer market in December with the launch of its first Home Purchase Plan product, an Shariah-compliant alternative to a conventional mortgage.

Karen Faulkner, Head of Home Finance Operations at Gatehouse Bank, commented:

“We are delighted to have Sonam, Neha and Ben join the Gatehouse team.

Our product range has gone from strength to strength since we launched it in 2017, and these new appointments will further bolster the expertise we have in this area.

All three of them are highly experienced and represent the continued strengthening of our rapidly expanding Milton Keynes operation.”
