Sinead Moynihan

Mint Bridging provide handcrafted loans to meet the exact needs of every borrower. They are a unique provider of individually structured, short-term finance for property purchases, developments and general capital raising.

We speak to Head of Sales, Sinead Moynihan:

What is the best thing about being in the bridging finance business?

For me the best thing about being in bridging and development finance is being able to see the commercial viability in a borrowers project and helping them achieve that with the financial injection needed that other lenders cannot provide.

What keeps you focused?

I keep focused by driving forward the broker and borrower experience with Mint Bridging. I want the experience with us to be different, so that we create authentic and commercial relationships that are beneficial to all parties.

What qualities do you look for in your employees or colleagues?

In employees or colleagues I look for drive and attention to detail. These are important qualities as we need to make sure that these run through all that we do.

Are you an optimist or a pessimist?

I’m definitely an optimist, I don’t believe in being anything but.

What did you want to be as a child?

As a child I wanted to be a doctor and as an adult I have an addiction to Grey’s Anatomy (guilty pleasure).

What will be the greatest challenge facing the bridging finance industry in the coming months?

The uncertainty with Brexit is obviously still around us. I think in every industry there are always challenges, and as leaders of businesses it’s our role to navigate our teams safely around them.

Who or what makes you laugh?

Memes on Instagram (another guilty pleasure!)

Do you dread Monday mornings?

I’m going to sound like one of those annoying people but no, I don’t dread Mondays! I look forward to them as much as I look forward to every day in the week.

Mondays for me, mean a team meeting first thing and setting us all off as we mean to go on!

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

If I could change one thing about me it would be that I find it hard to not be in control.

With whom would you most like to have dinner?

If I could have dinner with anyone in the world it would be Muhammad Ali. I would love to have a conversation with him about his mindset and all that he achieved.
