Pluto Finance today announces the launch of its Revolving Credit Facility (RCF) designed to support established SME housebuilders scale the delivery of much needed housing in the UK without the requirement to fully fund the completion of individual  development sites.

The RCF is available to housebuilders delivering at least 50 homes per annum across multiple sites. Facility size can be from c.£10m up to c.£75m tailored to meet the individual housebuilders requirements and business plan.

The RCF will support up to 75% of the housebuilders land and work in progress with a term of up to 5 years. Security will be individually structured and will include 1st ranking property security, debenture / floating charge, cost overrun, and the cross collateralisation of individual sites.

The launch comes at a time when UK housebuilders continue to navigate a complex operating environment, with planning delays, cost inflation and funding constraints placing pressure on delivery pipelines.

Jamie Drummond , Lending Director, Pluto Finance, commented:

“We are only too aware of the challenges facing SME housebuilders in the UK in financing their businesses and their ability to deliver much needed housing.

We wanted to give them access to a revolving facility similar to that available to the large national housebuilders which will allow them to make much more efficient use of their balance sheet capital.

We are able to support housebuilders throughout the UK and each of our Lending Directors is ready to discuss their needs and provide an individually structured RCF. Please get in touch and we can get to work”.

The launch of the Housebuilder Multi-Site RCF forms part of Pluto Finance’s broader strategy to provide innovative funding solutions that respond to the evolving needs of the UK residential development sector.

By combining scale, flexibility, and structured credit discipline, the product is intended to support long-term partnerships with developers and contribute to increased housing delivery across the UK.
