Paragon Bank funds £10.3m Brook House Place development in Urmston

Paragon Bank’s Development Finance division is supporting Eccleston Homes with a £10.3 million finance facility for Brook House Place, a new residential scheme in the heart of Urmston, Greater Manchester.

The development, which will deliver 57 high-quality residential homes and broke ground in May 2025, is well underway, with the first homes expected to be available as early as Spring 2026.

Brook House Place is designed to meet the needs of modern families and individuals, offering energy-efficient homes with contemporary architecture and thoughtful design.

The development features a range of property types, from stylish one-bedroom apartments through to spacious four-bedroom family houses, all set within a vibrant and growing community.

Urmston is one of Greater Manchester’s most sought-after suburbs, known for its close-knit community, good schools and well-connected transport links.

Residents of Brook House Place will benefit from easy access to the M60 motorway, regular rail services to Manchester city centre and a bustling town centre of independent shops, cafes and restaurants.

The area is also home to Golden Hill Park and Abbotsfield Park, making it appealing for families and those seeking green space.

The local housing market remains buoyant, with high demand for quality homes and a diverse mix of property types suiting both first-time buyers and families, with average property prices having increased over 21% in the last five years.

Brook House Place will deliver a mix of tenures, including shared ownership and affordable rent, supporting local people to access high-quality homes in their community. This aligns with Trafford’s ongoing commitment to increasing the supply of affordable housing and helping more residents onto the property ladder.

The deal was led on behalf of Paragon Bank by Simon Dekker, Senior Relationship Director, with support from Izzy Sargeant, Portfolio Manager.
