CBRE launches regional property finance arm
By Bridging Loan Directory -
Property consultancy CBRE has launched a network of new regional property finance arms reports BusinessDesk.com.
The units will provide access on funding to finance property schemes and debt structuring.
The firm said the network had been set up in response to demand from owners of regionally-based assets for advice tailored to their own marketplace.
It will offer debt advisory advice, including support for accessing bank debt, equity funding and capital raising for joint ventures and advice on restructuring and refinancing existing loans. It will also advise banks on debt recovery, including Law of Property Act receiverships.
CBRE senior director Nick Mullins will head the advisory arm in the north of England.
He said: “In past cycles, flows of capital to the regions have been restored naturally, but this recovery has seen unprecedented levels of congestion in the debt and equity markets.
“Manchester is a key regional real estate hub in the UK and our ability to extend these important services to owners and potential investors here, and across the north of England, is an exciting development for our team.
“The Manchester office has for a number of years sought to provide our clients with advice that meets their needs in relation to their real estate objectives and this initiative will continue to ensure they benefit from the full range of expertise that CBRE offers.”
