Boutique bridging lender Malthouse Capital has secured a multi-million-pound block discounting facility from Shawbrook, marking the firm’s first institutional funding line and a key milestone in its growth journey.

The new facility will enable Malthouse Capital to expand its lending capacity and support more UK property investors with agile short-term finance solutions.

Founded in 2024, Malthouse Capital provides bridging finance secured against residential, semi-commercial and commercial property across England and Wales.

The lender has grown rapidly by focusing on tailored, case-by-case underwriting and delivering reliable funding to brokers and borrowers.
