Century Capital debut into airport finance off to a flying start

Century Capital have just completed a highly complex and time sensitive financing for an UHNW, Monaco based client.
The client had exchanged with a several million deposit and was under notice to complete on the purchase of part of a private airport, with the goal of setting up a flying school there to train new commercial pilots and to store private aircraft.
Having run into significant complications attempting to raise funds from a residential asset in prime central London, Century stepped in at the 11th hour and were able to lend the balance required to complete, secured against the airport asset at 65% LTV, avoiding the client losing a sizeable deposit and the chance to acquire a highly niche and rare asset that they’d be unlikely to find again.

A Guernsey based company with the ultimate beneficiary being a dual Saudi/UK national required £500,000 via an equitable charge to complete a refurbishment on a 19th Century Grade II listed property in prime Belgravia.
With the refurbishment scheduled to complete in the 1st quarter of 2019 and 1st charge holder agreeing to advance further monies on completion, Century had their exit.
The loan was swiftly closed with all stakeholders working in unison.
