Bovis Homes and Persimmon Homes join panel of Aldermore NewBuy house builders

British bank Aldermore, which was the first challenger bank to participate in the Government’s NewBuy scheme, has added Bovis Homes and Persimmon Homes (including Charles Church and Westbury) to its house builder panel.

The NewBuy scheme is designed to help homebuyers, either first-time buyers or home movers, with a limited deposit acquire a newly built home. Aldermore’s NewBuy mortgages offer a choice of 2 & 3 year fixed rates up to 95% LTV, with sensible underwriting rules and criteria being applied by expert and experienced staff.

Charles Haresnape, Managing Director of Aldermore Residential Mortgages, said:

“NewBuy is one of a number of government initiatives designed to help homebuyers move up or onto the housing ladder. We’re delighted that Bovis Homes and Persimmon Homes are joining our panel of home builders, which already includes Barrett Homes, Fairview New Homes, Keepmoat, Linden Homes and Redrow.”

Kevin Wilkins, Bovis Homes Group Marketing Director, said:

“We’re delighted to now have Aldermore on board, offering buyers even more choice as they look to take advantage of this excellent home buying opportunity.”

Aldermore is also one of the participants in the Bank of England’s Funding for Lending scheme. Data published recently confirms that Aldermore is one of the top 5 lenders registered with the scheme, ranked by the amount lent to households and companies in the third quarter of 2012.
