Ross Williams has now taken up the role of Business Development Manager, to service and develop Black Book’s fast-growing introducer base.

Williams brings 13 years of experience in high performance sales, initially in banking, where he specialised in lending for Natwest – winning their ‘South West Sales Award’ three years in a row, and was fast-tracked into their ‘Future Leaders Programme’. He went on to hold successful sales management roles with broker firm 425 Financial Solutions, and then with digital processing platform Diligenta, a division of Tata Consulting. Most recently he worked for Enterprise Finance, where he took on a new geographic area and over just 18 months became one of Enterprise’s top-performing Business Development Managers.

Michael Clapper, executive chairman at Black Book Finance, said:

“We’re delighted and proud to welcome Ross to our team. Black Book has set out to achieve new service and proposition benchmarks, so our recruitment process has to be highly selective. For us, Ross ticked every box. He is smart, professional and brings great enthusiasm for our plans, along with a deep understanding of both the finance sector and introducer relations.”

Ross Williams, pictured, said:

“Black Book’s proposition is by far the most comprehensive I’ve seen in our industry, with almost every type of finance requirement catered for on either an introducer-advised or referred basis. I have no doubt that brokers will love our service proposition and use it often. Add to that Michael’s well-known track record of success, and I jumped at the chance to join their team. I’m excited to now play a key role in Black Book’s inevitable long-term success.”

Whilst still less than a year old, Black Book Finance has already made a significant market impact; with over 500 registered introducers, several high-profile completions, and its first major distribution partnership with The Beaufort Group.
