Aspen Bridging, the award winning nationwide lender based in the Midlands, has experienced a surge in volumes.

To maintain and improve service levels as volumes grow Aspen has relocated to new and larger offices in Solihull and taken on several new staff.

The new development selected for the office offers Aspen the space needed to accommodate the growing team and leaves room for the projected expansion in the New Year.

Ed Ahrens, managing director, Aspen Bridging stated:

“We have big plans for Aspen in 2019 and we are aiming to continue to bring together quality products and an efficient approach to an ever wider audience.”

In October alone Aspen have recruited several senior underwriters, case processors and IT developers as the firm decides to invest in a larger team to enable its next stage of growth.

Sonny Gohel, who is both an experienced bridging underwriter and has a strong background in property law, has joined Aspen as a senior underwriter from nearby competitor, Greenfield Capital.

In support also, Prabhat Talwar, a finance graduate, has joined Aspen as a trainee underwriter.

On the IT side, Aspen have recruited Assad Sarwar, an experienced IT developer with over 10 years’ experience who is also supported in his role by a junior developer.

Jack Coombs, director at Aspen Bridging said:

“These additions significantly bolster the Aspen team and show our determination to invest in both front facing staff and efficient technology to reduce time per case.

This is part of Aspen’s strategic drive to provide a consistently improving service and ever-faster turnarounds.”
