The Five Minute Interview with Frazer Fearnhead, CEO, The House Crowd

By

The House Crowd is the UK’s leading property crowdfunding platform, helping you benefit from property investments.

We speak to CEO, Frazer Fearnhead:

What is the best thing about being in the bridging finance business?

The streamlined processes of the industry allow real scalability and I enjoy the absence of property management hassles.

What keeps you focused?

Our primary focus is keeping our clients happy, and there’s no better feeling than receiving positive feedback from satisfied investors. Providing the highest quality service is at the centre of all operations, and is something we pride ourselves on.

What qualities do you look for in your employees or colleagues?

Integrity, reliability and self-motivation.

Are you an optimist or a pessimist?

I’m definitely an optimist as I always try and see the best in people. I’ve had to balance this over the years and consider myself a good judge of character.

What did you want to be as a child?

A pop star. My dreams were dashed when I realised I couldn’t actually sing…

What will be the greatest challenge facing the bridging finance industry in the coming months?

The biggest challenge would come if banks got their act together and realised what they were missing out on. Thankfully, this is highly unlikely.

Who or what makes you laugh?

My cats, Jimmy Carr and Jack Dee.

Do you dread Monday mornings?

Absolutely not, they’re the start of an exciting new week.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I would become more patient and accepting of mine and others’ mistakes, everyone makes them.

With whom would you most like to have dinner?

David Bowie. Sadly, no longer possible.
