Capital Bridging FinanceA Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year is assured when you get what you want and it opens up new opportunities for the year ahead.

That is just what happened to a client of Adapt Finance when they had to tell them that the prominent lender they were in the process of placing their acquisition application with would be unable to complete before the holiday.

Step in Iain McCarrell, underwriter at Capital Bridging Finance Limited (“Capital Bridging”). The enquiry, from Stephen Burns at Adapt, was made on 16th December and the funds released on 23rd December.

Commenting on the case Stephen Burns said;

“They were existing clients and we have placed business before on their behalf with the original lender but, in our opinion on this occasion; they were putting too many unnecessary obstacles in the way. Due to the client’s requirement to complete before the Christmas break we decided the best course of action was to look to place the application elsewhere. We spoke to Iain and were able to furnish him with enough information to convince him this was a quality case from a quality client. Capital Bridging pulled out all the stops and it was a sterling job all round”.

Keith Aldridge, Managing Director at Capital Bridging;

“This is typical of the type of business we are attracting on a daily basis. The market is buoyant in the conversion of former office blocks into residential units. At Capital Bridging we are giving focus to these opportunities. Adapt is yet another broker who we are confident, that having placed their first case with us, will be a strong supporter of our proposition in 2015.

The Capital Bridging proposition is centred on the relationships that all stakeholders need to have with each other. This case was a prime example of the commitment Capital Bridging makes to ensuring all parties are aware of the urgency of the situation and the need for proactive response at all time”.

Ian McCarrell commented;

“Our solicitor’s worked closely with the borrower’s solicitor to achieve the swift completion, we could not have achieved such a result without their prompt input.”
