Vantage Finance exceeds fundraising target in charity cycle

TeamVantageVantage Finance has completed its gruelling charity cycle, during which the team cycled for 10 hours over 10 days to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity. The stamina-testing challenge was undertaken as part of Vantage Finance’s 10th anniversary, and the team is delighted to have exceeded the original fundraising target and raised £3103.45 for The Brain Tumour Charity.

Rather than hitting the roads, a bike was installed in the office, so it was business as usual, as they completed their Tour de Gerrards Cross. The team even managed to persuade some of their visitors to have a go including: Gavin Seaholme, Andy Faed, Gareth Lewis, Stephen Wasserman, Lorenzo Satchell, Emma Cox and Karen Bennett.

The team cycled 2845.9km over the challenge, which is equivalent to cycling from London to Ankara in Turkey, and the top individual distance cycled was an impressive 41km in an hour!

Lucy Hodge, Director of Vantage Finance said:

“The Vantage team threw itself into the challenge, juggling lender and broker calls whilst racking up an impressive 100 hours in action. Thank you to everyone who donated, and also to all the intermediaries and lending partners who have chosen to work with Vantage over the years.”

The money raised is being donated to The Brain Tumour Charity, which is the largest dedicated brain tumour charity in the UK. With a current lack of funding for brain tumour causes, the money raised will go towards funding scientific and clinical research, offering support to sufferers and raising public awareness.
